Uganda Participates in the Africa Day Festival

UPAVA was among the communities that participated in the Africa Day Festival Dinner that took place at the iconic Melbourne Town Hall on May 25. The event, organised by the African Australian community, was celebrating the UN Declared Africa Day and was marked with vibrant colours, drums, and flavours of Africa.

Africa Day celebrates the dynamic and diverse continent and the contributions of Africans to the world and was a show caused by the different African Communities that turned up in their coloured attire to celebrate the continent. 

The event was also celebrated by professionals, politicians, businessmen and scholars from different walks of life across Victoria.
